It is a great pleasure for me to welcome future students of
Webster University to Les Berges du Rhône, a new concept in University urban living. Knowing that many of Webster’s students prefer to live in Geneva and commute to our campus in Bellevue,
Webster University entered into a partnership the developers of Les Berges du Rhône to provide a student residence that combines comfortable, modern living facilities with spectacular views of the city and the Rhône; adjacent access to public transportation and proximity to all kinds of shopping and entertainment.
The structure is a 100-year-old former Rolex Watch factory that the developers have completely renovated, preserving attractive features of the former building while providing high-tech, modern infrastructure that 21st-century students expect. Significantly, the building generates 30% of its own electrical power thanks to 41 solar panels and two heat pumps installed on the roof.
We hope that you will find
Webster University's academic environment intellectually stimulating and challenging. But we also hope that your time spent living in Les Berges du Rhône will be memorable and enjoyable and will complement your studies in a significant way.
Again, welcome to
Webster University and welcome to Les Berges du Rhône!
